UMAC & REFUGEE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

Ugandan Muslim Association is a nonprofit organization that provides training, technical assistance, counselling, and various other community based services to both MUSLIM and NON-MUSLIM Members in all parts of the Canada.
For over a year, UMAC has been sheltering African refugee claimants that find themselves out on the streets because Toronto’s shelter system is full.

This consists of beds and meals for between 15-45 people, depending on the day. The work is primarily done by volunteers with very little resources.
This Ramadan, we are inviting people who would like to donate to the Masjid to do so at ucanadianmuslims@gmail.com

Our Core Belief is to bring Muslims and non- Muslims together for dialogue while giving back in our community and also by holding prayers ,celebrating religious festivities, spiritual support as one.
We provide immediate solutions and response to hunger crisis, restore dignity, health, opportunity and give hope to people living in poverty.
